Katelyn, Mikey + Sawyer

I got to hang out with this cute family back in the fall along with another of my favorite families (stay posted for Karyn, Noel and Fable's half of this shoot). We braved a rainy day and sought cover under overpasses and trees and it was so fun. Watching Katelyn and Mikey love and Sawyer and to see Sawyer play with his cousin Fable, oh my, the whole morning was filled with cuteness x 10.

Cousins in Cathedral Park

This week, I had the chance to photograph five of the cutest kids I've met all together in one shoot, and they all happen to be cousins. I took pictures of two of these guys in a family shoot this summer and one of them before he was born in a maternity shoot, so I was excited to see them all together this time and on a beautiful fall day in Portland.

I was a little nervous about how it would go with five little ones and how to get them all to look at me and maybe even smile for me, but their mamas were amazing at getting them to smile and participate and look in my general direction most of the time. And even when no one is looking at the camera or paying attention, it was sweet to capture moments of them together. I can just imagine them looking at these pictures ten or twenty years from now, laughing and remembering this day.
